Drone Subteam

The Drone Subteam develops and operates a small aerial drone to support the rover during competition missions. A Pixhawk flight controller, GPS-assisted flight systems, digital FPV camera, and long-range radio links capture aerial images of the landscape, scout routes, and provide valuable terrain information to assist rover navigation and mission planning. Drone flight systems, imaging technology, and communication systems are developed to provide reliable aerial performance in various environments.
