Drive Sub-Team
The Drive Sub-team is responsible for designing a chassis and suspension system that will allow the Arm and Science Sub-teams to complete their missions. Our formed sheet-metal chassis allows the Electrical Sub-team to efficiently integrate custom PCBs to control the rover from its rocker-bogey suspension system to scientific instruments that analyze soil samples. With software integration, our rover can climb stairs and obstacles up to 30cm high to overcome any rocky terrain that comes our way.
