Drive Subteam

The Drive Subteam is responsible for designing a chassis and suspension system that will allow the Arm and Science Subteams to complete their missions. Our formed sheet-metal chassis allows the Electrical Subteam to efficiently integrate custom PCBs to control the rover, from its rocker suspension system to scientific instruments that analyze soil samples. With software integration, our rover can climb stairs and obstacles up to 30cm high to overcome any rocky terrain that comes our way.
